Chris understands the unique challenges of every day life more than anyone else can. Chris was finally diagnosed with Stargart´s Disease in 1995, a degenerative eye disease causing progressive blindness, after suffering from extremely poor vision since his adolescent years.
Among his many passions is inspiring others to reach beyond limitations. Meeting him for the first time, many are unaware of his own personal obstacles due to his drive and determination to create a comfortable life and fiercely maintain his own independence.
Always reaching for more, in addition to his already successful massage and personal training career, he has created Planet Palm Springs an online internet guide to Palm Springs and the surround desert cities. He felt the need to express his gratefulness to the city that has given him so much by "giving back." Local charities can promote their cause at no cost and local businesses have the opportunity to advertise at extremely low rates, while receiving world wide exposure through the vast reach of the internet.
Not surprisingly Chris is a motivational speaker and entrepreneur at heart. He can be found at the Braille Institute in Palm Desert once a week helping others achieve their goals by finding their passion. Also, he is active member of many local chambers, including residing on the Board of Directors of Indian Wells Chamber of Commerce.
Chris understands the dilemma of time management as much as anyone. In searching for a balance between personal needs, career, and community involved, he discovered the ROM machine. Many of his personal training clients have since graduated from conventional workouts to the use of this amazing engineering feat.
