I have been a personal trainer in the Palm Springs Area of California for the past 15 years. My standard workout regiment for my training clients was meeting every other day. Our routine consisted of fitness training for upper body and triceps on Mondays, back and biceps on Wednesday, and shoulders and lower body on Friday, then duplicating this routine on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for another group of clients. I´m sure WE have all put ourselves through this routine at some point in our lives. For all people involved, myself included this translated to an incredible about of time devoted to fitness training.
Clients would say to me that they needed a little more attention to help them achieve their weight loss goals. My advice to them was normally to include 20 minutes of walking on days that we did not meet for training to help incorporate more cardiovascular exercise in their lives.
Still others would thumb through the pages of men´s fitness magazines and say, "I want six-pack abs like his!" I would carefully review the requirements of a nutritious diet and we would lie down on the mats where I would demonstrate an abdominal workout routine which could be done at home on off days in front of the television or upon waking in the morning.
Training in Palm Springs for many years a great number of my clients have limited range of motion. As with all of my clients proper stretching prior to any exercise was a must, however many customers would still complain of muscular stiffness and soreness. We would work together to adhere to a stretching routine that anyone could do.
Having been immersed in personal fitness training daily for so many years I began to understand my clients needs and the amount of time available in their busy routines. Many attempted to balance their lives the best they could but left with a time crunch on any given day their first call would be to cancel our workout session.
Dedicating myself to discover the ultimate way to achieve a balance between busy lives and proper nutrition & fitness, in 2005 I came upon the ROM Machine. Currently I have (2) ROM machines at my disposal. One that I keep in my training gym at my residence in the Palm Springs Area and another that I keep mobile on weekends. Both ROM exercise machines are available to anyone that is interested in trying this unique exercise equipment. Since my discovery I have acquired a large base of faithful weekly users and over twenty individuals and couples from around the United States that have purchased the Range of Motion machine with my assistance. First time enthusiasts have a great opportunity, through professional instruction to learn proper form and function free of charge.
I believe that my past personal fitness training background, along with my extensive involvement with the ROM machine has allowed me to consider myself a ROM Professional.
